Linear Medic Alert System

PERS
When Linear introduced the personal emergency pendant, it created a significant market for emergency reporting. In fact, Linear has been a manufacturing leader in personal emergency systems for over twenty years.
The current Linear Personal Emergency Reporting System (PERS) product line maximizes the potential of that market. It has been expanded to take PERS reporting to the next level. The product line now consists of our new PERS-4200 with add-on modules, our popular PERS-2400B and its related accessories and the state-of-the-art PERS-3600B. All Linear PERS consoles are UL listed as Home Healthcare signaling devices per UL Standard 1637.

The table-top console provides pushbutton emergency assistance to anyone who desires additional security and peace of mind. For the visually impaired, labels are provided with Braille characters to identify the button’s function. The PERS-4200 console can receive signals from up to 16 Linear wireless transmitters. Activating a transmitter causes the console’s digital communicator to send the appropriate alarm report to the central monitoring station via the standard telephone network or by the optional UMTS-3G cellular communication module, if so configured. In addition to the central station report, audible and visual indications occur during an emergency activation.
